Hi,
I've been living in Vietnam for a few years now and still utilizing the same phone number and SIM card I got when I first arrived. 4G cellular network wasn't available at that time, but I believe my carrier (Vinaphone) has 4G now if I'm not mistaken.
Is it possible to upgrade my 3G to the new 4G network while still keeping the same phone number and SIM card? It would be a real headache to change phone numbers now since I use this number for business as well as personal.
How much faster is the 3G compared to the 4G? Any plans for LTE?

To be accurate, there's 4G and 4G LTE. Not sure how much faster the 4G LTE is though. Probably not as noticeable as going from 3G to 4G.
Any info out there?

Just go into a Vinaphone store and explain your situation and they'll give you a new sim with the same number.
