Wholemeal Bread...

... with all seeds in it and that...

Where shall I look? My local supermarket just sells this anaemic white cardboardy sliced stuff, and I'm missing all the goodness I used to get back in blighty...!

If you want sliced wholemeal bread you can get it in Mercadona, if you are looking for good quality wholemeal bread you are better off with a Forn de pa ( bakery) ask for pan integral (Spanish) or if you want to win points with the locals- pa integral (Catalan)

Go to "La Danesa" at diagonal con Roger de lluria. A danish bakery who makes very good ryebread

This place is great, though a bit pricey

Yep, Barcelona Reykjavik have amazing bread, the spelt loafs are especially good, they are horribly expensive though.

Any bread describes as 'integral' should be less white and anemic, and mostly little bakeries that I have been into have something a bit grainy.
