Is it possible to get driving licence for housewife/Family joining member in Oman?
what is the process and if yes then please advise lady driving instructor?

yes definitely. There is no law barring such things

Housewives are (still) allowed to apply for driving licence books.

There was some news published in the press which said that effective January 2016, housewives will be barred from applying for getting their driving licences.

This is to regulate the number of vehicles on the roads and to try some way to reduce the traffic congestion.

Also discussed were some other ideas of regulating those who apply for their driving licence - for instance, the authorities were mulling on having some restrictions in place such as a minimum salary requirement, the job designation, etc.

Till now none of these checks have been promulgated.
