Hi! I have a Chinese boyfriend and we plan to get married soon which will require me to transfer to Nanchang. I have an engineering degree, fluent in English but doesn't know basic Chinese. I plan to apply as an English teacher since I think that's the only job I can apply for but then, from what I've read from the forum, they prefer white people and I am Asian. And also, I have no background in teaching nor i have certificates. What are my chances in landing into a job and are there any other choices aside from an English teacher?
Other things i am inclined to are mathematics, arts and crafts, basic guitar, almost all common sports, basic photo and video editing.
I hope I can get serious answers. Thanks!

Do a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) course. I do not think being Asian will influence your chances. Also look at international schools for a Math, etc. post.
