I will be staying for a considerable length of time in BEIJING, is there a FILIPINO COMMUNITY or PLACE that I can hang around or an ASSOCIATION of FILIPINOS in BEIJING that I can join during my stay? Thanks

Tony: there may be a few Filipinos in Beijing, but only a few, if any. Most of them are in places such as Hong Kong and Shenzhen where its warm. I have chatted with Filipinos in Beijing in the past, and the general theme, is"its too cold" in the winter, however, Good luck. I used to coach a Filipino basketball team in Hong Kong and I loved the players...Coach

Thanks for the feedback. I am just hoping that I can meet those "few" Filipinos. Yes, it is really cold here. I can feel the great difference in weather and environment compared to the Philippines. But this a wonderful experience and "INSPIRING JOURNEY" for me. Thanks again.
