Indian schools in kuala lumpur

Hi,

I will be relocating to Kl from India(mumbai) soon. Looking for indian schools in Kl. My kids are 3 and half years old.
Pls help with some good indian schools.

Thanks!

As Brickfields is a major Indian area there are three schools located in the vicinity. GIIS, Havil, and Vikas. Their fees are discussed in this thread

Otherwise Malaysian Indians do attend private and international schools throughout the Klang Valley, UCSI is one such school. It all depends on which curriculum you want.

Thanks Gravitas for the quick reply. Also I would like to know which is the best International school in KL?

Its a very subjective opinion. The most expensive ones are usually automatically viewed as the best. Fees are based on class level and the expensive ones are over RM4k per month for the basic tuition at Year 1. These would include Alice Smith, ISKL, Garden, British School of KL. A lot depends on where the job is located and where the family would like to live.

Hi sailaja,

Your topic is now on the Kuala Lampur forum for more visibility and interaction with the members.

Thanks

If you want Indian curriculum the choices are Global Indian International School or Vikas

Thanks for your reply Gravitas
How about Sri Dasmesh international school.
Does that school also provide CBSE curriculum..

No. UK Cambridge curriculum. Check the website if ever unsure about what is available. UK curriculum is the favourite here but there is also US, Canada, Australian, Singapore plus various others

Thanks Gravitas

Forgot to mention International Baccalaureate is popular with Expats who are on the move regularly.

I wanted to know which language options are available  as second language or third language(if any) in the CBSE schools .if the first language is English ..

And what are the options available for Cambridge curriculum schools  for second language and third language( if any)?

Usually Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia  are offered because the pupils are mainly local Malaysians and they need those skills.

Details will be either on websites or email schools of interest based on your budget.

I seem to recall that more languages may be offered under the international Baccalaureate. You can check this at Fairview website http://www.fairview.edu.my/fv_live/

Thanks again
