São Paulo - Results of a survey conducted by IBOPE (Instituto Brasileiro de Opinião Pública e Estatística) show that 39% of Brazilians are "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the state of DEMOCRACY in this country. This represents an increase from 26% from a similar survey last year. And the government is bragging about this????
They seem to fail to understand that this means that fully 61% of the population IS NOT SATISFIED with what passes for democracy in this country!
Way to go guys! Really cause for all this backpatting, isn't it?
Cheers,
