You can have a look at this links for car parks.
I dont know if they are free. I feel you may find it hard to find free car parks especially in this area, as its in Zone 1 and its very close to the City. 
If you do find a free one, two things to bear in mind. You may see a sign that says, 'Park your car here at your own risk' and secondly dont leave any thing in your car that may invite unwanted guests breaking into your car... just a tip
