Hi,

We are in the process of finalizing our purchase of land on GTI and soon will begin construction of our new home!

We are planning on bringing our family member, Amaya, a Doberman Pinscher - Canine Good Citizen Certified, STARR Trained and Certified. Spayed, AKC Show Quality, with us.

I noticed that Dobermans are on the dangerous dog list and want to make sure we will be able to bring her with us when we move.

Please advise as to how we may be able to ensure that Amaya can reside on GTI.

I see that you are nearing completion on your new home from another post. Just wondering what happened with your dog. Bringing a dog in is very difficult but can be done.

You might like to know that the doberman in not on the restricted breeds list. The ordinance was rewritten and gazetted April 4th and that adapted list does not have the doberman listed either. The website for environmental health has dogs listed that are not in the ordinance so you should get a copy of the ordinance and either send or take that with you.
