Tranfer of Employer for EP in Singapore

Hello Friends,
My situation is as below :
I have employement pass with one company lets say "A" with whom I am permanent employee. This EP is still valid.
Now, I am getting good other opportunity with Singapore based company, lets say "B" as a free lancer. I want to work with this new company "B" as a free lancer means I will have a job contract.
Can any one suggest me the way to go forward in this situation.
How can I transfer y employement pass to another company with whom I will be free lancing.
Thanks in advance

You cannot transfer an EP to another employer. To change company, you'd have to apply for a new EP and cancel the old one. There is always a danger that the new one is not approved and you end up having to leave Singapore. (Although the old EP will only be cancelled after your new one is approved, the old employer can get the information about your new EP application from MoM and there are cases where such an illoyal employee was subsequently sacked.)
You cannot get an EP for freelance work, only for full-time employment with a company.

Hello,Thanks for reply.
But does it mean, there is no hopes for freelancing carrer in Singapore.

Only citizens and permanent residents (PR) can freelance.
