HI,
We have a house in Cuenca and we would like to get some recommendations about people that make furniture. We like Contemporary Furniture but can't find any good furniture stores there yet..We have not been everywhere so we want to make sure that we do not offend any stores there but the one's we have been in do not have much variety. Please let us know.

Hello Tom,
There's many furniture stores in Cuenca but the styles are pretty much the same, kind of classic style.
But if you have some photos or design of what you want they can make it for you.
Take a look on Muebleria Bolivar on the corner of Sangurima and padre Aguirre, they said they speak English there.
Also there's a furniture store located between the Stadium and Supermaxi that make custom furniture.
I don't remember the name of the stores but there're one what it looks like has modern designs close to the Coliseum going down by 12 de Abril on the left side and another on the rondure of Vicente Solano and Remigio Crespo.
