Hi,

My HR told me that it will take around 3 months for processing Work Visa to KSA and the assignment needs to be started urgently I was asked if i can travel on visitor visa and then change once in KSA.

This was very confusing to me but I agreed to it. Now the expiry was approaching they again took my passport for same visa renewal saying that work visa cannot be processed right now.

Now, the immigration has given me a renewal BUT at the same time communicated to my HR that this visa cannot be renewed further.

I would appreciate your advice on this matter. Shall I exit and agree to return on same visa again or request for work visa now though it takes long time. Please share all extra info that you can!

Ask for work visa if you want to stay here permanent. Otherwise you can continue doing exit runs.

If they want you longer, they would start with the work visa sooner. No harm in talking about it with your employer.
