Swimming Pools in Quang Nam Province (Hoi An)

IMPORTANT NOTICE; Cua Dai Beach area is about 5 kilometres from Hoi An Ancient Town. Some hotels have mini-buses or you can use taxis (big taxi park next to Victoria).

The Cua Dai Beach is a stony beach with a big drop-off 'shelf' that is only visible at low tide. It can be dangerous to the unwary.

The most important danger is a WHIRLPOOL AREA almost located opposite to the intersection of the Hoi An road with the beach road. It is a KILLER. I have personally witnessed two people, on separate occasions, getting drowned.  The Peoples Committee even erected a sign and two flag poles indicating the dangerous area.

Hotels in the area LIE and deny that it exists. It is bad business for them. But the KILLER WHIRLPOOL EXISTS and is real.
