Children under 3 in the rear must use a proper child restraint if one is available. Children over 3 and under 12 must use appropriate restraints front and rear. However by the founds of that sounds like they may be able to go into a booter from 3 however maybe add a question onto that site of wait if anyone knows or even go ask at a local grage
