Saudi Visa - Medical Test - Hep B

I'm from Pakistan who has spent several years (study and work) in Australia and hence an Australian citizen as well. I have recently accepted an offer for a consulting co. in Riyadh. My visa attestation and pre-visa processing was at the final stage but I have hit a bump, my medical test was unfit because of HBSAg positive result.

I know I have Hep B since birth and it is in the family including all my siblings. I have never had any issue due to this condition with my Australian visas and citizenship and even UK study visas in the past. I have also consulted specialists over the years in Pakistan and Australia and they said its a chronic condition but is inactive and would have no impact on my daily and work-related activities.

I didn't know that GCC medical rules were this strict around Hep B. I know if I apply for Saudi visa with this unfit result it will be rejected. What are my options now?

My company is based in other locations across Middle East. My understanding is that other locations in GCC like Doha, Bahrain, etc. have same requirements. Would it help if I ask them to move my offer to UAE, which I believe doesn't have these requirements around Hep B?

Any guidance around this would be highly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing back.

Thank you

Your best option with Hep B is to work in the UAE (and that too only if you are not in some job categories e.g. food handlers, nannies etc).  Everywhere else, you will have problems.
