I'm flying with Saudia and would like to bring a guitar as checked baggage. I'm only allowed to bring 1x23kg baggage acc. to my ticket. On the website it states the following for musical instruments:
"Saudia accepts Sporting equipment and musical instruments as checked baggage if it is properly packed or inserted in special bags and its weight shall be counted as a part of free checked baggage allowance"
Does that mean it counts as part of my one allowed piece even though it would be two bags then? Anybody have experience with this?
