Coming to Hurghada in January 2024

Hi I'm planning to  come to the area for extended stays in the winter when I retire next year .  Possibly  purchase a small property or just find and area where I can get long term rentals and meet expats/others on extended stays. I like El Gonna so I was thinking Al Ahayaa might be good but I would welcome your feedback/recommendations. I'd be keen to meet  new contacts when I come to Hurghada around 14th January. I have travelled a lot but I'm now looking for a bolt holt by the sea to escape uk winter and enjoy and outdoor life and socialising instead of being cooped up hiding from the cold and rain. I also want to travel all around and explore Egypt - do the Nile Cruise, Lake Nasser, Abu Simbel, Alexandria and Northern Egypt.
