EP APPROVAL

Hi, Is there such a pass called an EP sponsorship? Does the check a work pass is also applicable for such passes?

My sis got a job offer under this scheme. We have been patiently waiting since 1 week ago. but till now no status has been updated on MOM.

Checked with company, they mention to be patient too.

Please advise!

@mj.87 Sponsorship is not a pass, but the company's help to get one.

But being patient IS really the key - a week is far too early to start worrying!

so in this case since its not a pass then it can't be check on the work pass status?

Also, what does this mean for her for the sponsorship pass. She can stay in Singapore right?

It is the normal case that the employer is sponsoring (i.e. taking care of) a new hire's work pass.

Once she received the work pass, she can stay and work in Singapore.

Oh I see that's great! Can this type of pass be checked on MOM for the pass status?
