My Crazy Cool Life
My name is Beverly, I'm originally from Chicago; but lived in Los Angeles for 7 years and Atlanta for 4 years. I'm a writer by profession; but you wouldn't know it from my badly written blog. I'm currently 2 metro stops outside of Paris. I've been here since November 2008. I actually lived in the 14 arrondisement for one month.
How long do you plan to stay?
I really don't know, indefinitely. But I may travel back and forth to the U.S. just for fun.
Have you ever lived abroad before?
No, I have never lived abroad before so this is somewhat of an adventure for me. Everything is so strange and exotic.
How many countries have you visited?
I've only been to 4 different countries; but now that I'm in Europe I will be traveling more often.
Why did you decide to go and live abroad?
I decided to live abroad because I wanted to experience what it's like be a foreigner in a foreign land. I wanted to know what it feels like to literally be transplanted and have all of my assumptions and beliefs challenged.
Why did you choose to live in Paris ?
Because French men are FINE. Just kidding. Well they are fine; but that's not the reason I came here. I came to Paris because of the French love of artists and writers. I like being loved. LOL
Your blog: Why did you start it?
Well, I started my blog originally to keep my friends informed about what I'm doing and my adventures. But some of my friends are generally bored with reading my blog and call me instead. It's much more exciting for them. LOL
Did you make new friends with your blog?
I haven't made any friends from my blog; but I have made enemies!
Have you ever met somebody you spoke with on your blog?
People on the internet are crazy. I know because I'm on the internet.

Do you miss anything from the USA?
No. Okay, that's not exactly true. I miss peanut butter. I miss popcorn. It is absolutely evil that a country like France does not give its citizens access to popcorn. I miss trees and grass. LOL Paris is a real concrete jungle. Oh yeah, last but certainly not least…I miss my friends.
