I'm an artist and retired American teacher who loves to volunteer in Europe. I've taught conversational English 4 times in Spain, and art, wall climbing, archery etc in Northern Ireland. Having visited Budapest and loved it, I'd love to volunteer there for a few weeks. Know of any places for me to contact?

Hi,
Excuse me for being completely clueless about volunteering, but other than donating your work, are you planning to fund your travel and stay as well? Because reimbursing such expenses are likely to cost more than hiring a regular teacher at full pay...
Also, are you better with kids or adults? There must be opportunities either way, just asking.
Knowing English is a very valuable skill in Hungary, but classes are unaffordable for many who could use it as the first rung of a ladder out of poverty.
