Perfect answer + if you drive. it is the best place to drive like a crazy and do most dangerous moves by ur car intended and unintended too :P

ppl , food , place , night life and ***** :D

the sun and the weather

hi,

Egypt is well know for its Arabic centers/institutes, its one of the best places to learn Arabic

Islam
Learn Arabic
Nice weather

it's the kind of place that just makes you feel really really good. I sometimes wonder how Egypt would be if it was a rich country. With all our problems we still make it.

Amazing place for sea, sun and food

nothing

really? why?

I don't know if in Egypt is possible to drive, for a woman.
I don't think so, it's not good for me.

Rashaz :thanks: LOL

UMTS/LTE your comment is sexist. Of course women can drive here and I personally think the Egyptian woman driver is the bravest of them all!

The only 'best reason' for living in Egypt is the weather. Full stop. :D

So what?
Full stop? Is that a menace? too baaaad

It's All a Matter of Perception :) ... Some people would love it and some other would not; but at the end of the day Egypt will remain Egypt with its History and Civilization :)

For me the 5 good reasons for living in Egypt are as the following:

Family Vibes
Culture & History
Weather
Beaches
Cost of Living

traffic jams

I never have seen women drive a car in Egypt......
I saw very few women around or have a job in Egypt.
Sorry, It's a really sad lifestyle.

In Egypt - especially Cairo - there are very few women, the ones that do exist here are not allowed out of their homes unless for emergency purposes such as going to the shop for sugar, and this is only allowed if it is very dark and they dress to look like a man so that they won't be noticed. Women are not allowed to drive here and if they get caught driving they will be expelled from the country!

UMTS/LTE Does the above confirm your view of Egypt - did you actually visit Egypt or did you just think you saw a couple of women from your window as your plane passed over the country - if you were in Egypt I can only guess that you were living in the desert at the time lol

I don't know where you were, but I see plenty of women driving a car, going to work etc. The last years I have seen a rise in women driving, maybe due to sexual harassment?
BTW I am driving also in Cairo with no problems, just with some adjustments!

Actually, LorriC, I haven't understood anything you've written.
Anyway I am happy if women are allowed to drive.
And I'm not living in Egypt, but I've only been here a lot of time

I was joking but it obviously went straight over your head :)

I don't really understand why you would think 'It's a really sad lifestyle' - the Egyptian women that I know (from different backgrounds) enjoy their lives here in Egypt, working, driving and socialising - perhaps when you've been to Egypt it has been for short periods of time and you didn't get the chance to see how Egyptian people, men and women, live their lives.

Enjoy your weekend :)

OK! I had I little, but very little suspect, that you were taking me for granted.
Look... it's strange to see women going in swimming pool completely covered from head to feet

1. Hospitality

5. different life styles

I think each woman has the right to wear what she wants, inside and out of the swimming pool, you should not even give an opinion on that, it's each ones choice, maybe you've heard about "tolerance"?

As you know this is a mostly muslim country, so you should not be shocked because some women decide to be more conservative in mixed swimming pools. I also see men going in to the water mostly covered. Maybe here to get a tan is not so important.

I think we're going off topic here.
Could we concentrate on the initial question?

Thanks
Armand

its more shocking as a muslim to see naked women on the beach topless.  people should never be ridiculed for wearing clothes. sorry. women need to respect themselves more and we would get much farther ahead in the world. i see the naked foreigners as the eyesores of egypt.

Try going in a feast to Hurghada. For example during the last feast: if you would have driven faster than the speed limit you would have paid LE 600!! There were no less than 4 speed controls!

Only one reason - Kind & lovely people , Feel all are one family

How come the people drive crazy if there were actually speed limit. 6th October, Cairo is a formula 1 track for aspiring F1 drivers.

They repaired the cameras on the Mehwar... I have seen them do that and Bey2ollak mentioned it also. Take your pick.
You have to pay for those offences when you renew your car licence. For the traject (from the crossing Cairo-Alex road to 6th of October) without cameras: there are a lot of speed bumps, if you are driving fast/breaking fast there, then you can go each day to the gasstation!
But of course you have always boys whose daddy's pay for everything and they will not care.

Actually I think you should RUN AWAY there is nothing left in Egypt but IGNORANCE,RACISM and (moderated: offensive language) ,, the country is literally DYING <><>

:offtopic:

What i would say is

1. Food
2. People
3. language
4. cheaper to live
5 Weather

No good reason so far
I have only experienced the racism and how language barrier is a big problem, I might have to answer this question when I experience otherwise
Thanks
