1. Lots of access to the ocean if you like fishing, sailing or ocean views.
2. Lower population to land ratio.
3. You can grow your garden almost all year round.
4. Fresh drinking water is not yet in short supply.
5. All the amenities of a modern, European country without many of the downsides (over-population, civil unrest, etc.)
