Hi,

I am currently in negotiations for a short term role in Jakarta.
If anyone could help - I would like to know approximately how much should I be looking for from my employer to cover expenses whilst based in Jakarta.
Living expenses - daily food allowance value
Accomodation is part of the deal - approx cost for services 1 bedroom apartment.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi,

Its all depends. You can rent apartment/house from 100 USD to 10000 USD per month. For the food if you eat at street side its around 8000 RP and if you eat in mall then around 80000 RP. If you go by bus varies from 2000 RP to 5000 RP. if you go by taxi then depends on distance they will charge (appro. for 2 KM you need to pay 10000 RP)
