Rice please...

Hi everyone!

My name is Dennis, I am Asian and I'm new in town.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can buy rice and Asian products in Provence.

Thank you, appreciate the help

Dennis  =)

If there is SuperU or Monoprix near you, they have sections where you can buy rice and some asian products :)

Salamat angelvampire18

Merci =)

Mga kabayan, marami bang mga pinoy jan? Kasi next year jan na rin kami titira ng pamilya ko. Aalis na dito sa London. Maganda daw kasi quality of life jan and also good invironment to raise children. I have 2 kids 7 year old and 2 year old.

Hi Pinoyako123!

As this is the anglophone forum could you please post in English?

Armand

Okey I will next time.

is rice a problem down there in provence?

The asian market - Tran Lou - in Plan de Campagne tranlou.com

You can buy rice in any supermarket in France - E.leclerc, Géant Casino, Carrefour, Intermarché, and Monoprix. Sometimes when I run out of rice and couldn't go to the Asian store, I buy rice in E.leclerc.

There's a lot of Pinoy in Paris, Marseille, Toulouse.... Where are you planning to move in? I used to live in Nottingham, England. Cost of living is less expensive in France compare to England.

I'm unsure if this applies to France but, in England, we find Chinese supermarkets where many Asian food products can be found.
Immigration differences may not allow the same cultural mixes that we enjoy in England, but we have many Malay in the UK who use these shops, so a wide range of Asian foods are sold.
To find them, just ask at a Chinese restaurant.
