New Yorker in Bristol

Hi!  Just moved to Bristol 2 weeks ago to be with my fiance.  Being here on a fiance visa means I can't work until we are married (July) so I'm going a little stir crazy!!  I am a registered nurse in an ICU from New York City so I was used to being busy, busy! Looking to see if there are any women of my age group looking to meet up and share our experiences here!

Re: New Yorker in Bristol

Not a woman and not sure about the age group, but how are you settling in? I'm from Ohio and have been living here in England with my wife since 2005. Fortunately we never had to do the fiance visa thing though, I can't imagine how boring it must be to just sit around not even being able to look for work. Are you doing any volunteering or anything? smile
