Re: Housing in Indonesia

just want to share housing in Jakarta Indonesia.

if you 're expatriat and work in jakarta,
the nice place you may rent ( indekos) is in tanjung duren area.
this is west jakarta area, and very near with taman anggrek mall, mediterania appartment, central park shopping center and office center...and a lot of food stall you can find there...
and the price for rent around USD 60/ month (without Aircon) and
around usd. 110 /month (with aircon).

hope this info will help others who want to stay in jakarta...

Jakarta is a big city.
You would be better to say where in Jakarta you want to be.

Re: Housing in Indonesia

An unmarried couple may have problems finding a place.
Many people won't entertain you on moral grounds and it's possible you could get trouble from the police.
I know of one case in Purwokerto where the man was told to move out or else.
