Visas and qualifications.

Hi all. I want to move to Alberta Canada from Ireland. The more I research into it makes me feel less hopeful. Can anyone that has moved to Canada with first hand experience of these things help me out please. I'm a fully qualified cabinetmaker but ive heard i might need retraining in Canada as my qualification won't be recognized. Is this true. As well ive heard that if I leave one job I will have to reapply for my visa to get another one. Lastly, I'm hoping to move to a town near Calgary and would like to know are there many jobs for my trade in Calgary. I've been looking online but don't seem to find much. Thanks and hope to hear some encouraging things from ye all.

Re: Visas and qualifications.

My son has accepted an offer to study in UBC.  We appreciate info about the whole visa application process & requirement.
