Re: sat nav

We brought ours over from France and its an IGO ( purchased from ebay for 60 Euros), european map includes Malta. However, Malta is a small island and we found that a good map is much better than a sat nav. If you get lost ask, we have found that the locals will go out of there way to show you where you need to be.

Terry

Re: sat nav

Don't bother with sat nav.. Malt's only small and as Tearnet above says you're better off with a local map. We were lost years ago and stopped to ask the way.. the guy jumped in and took us to Cirkewwa ( we were in Mosta when we asked him) LOL, about 30 mins away.

Re: sat nav

I have a tomtom sat nav. I already had Europe on it, but for some some reason Malta was on a different version of Europe and I had to purchase it again (around 40 euros). It is totally out of date/wrong. It always take me down dead end streets and tells me to turn on to non existent roads! It did help me a bit initially but it made me pretty crazy too!
