unlimited broadband - which provider?

Hi - I have just arrived in Dammam, having spent a short time in Riyadh. I currently have a Mobily Connect USB dongle which I plug into my laptop and get  5GB (I think - or is it 1 Gb?) per month, for a cost of SAR100 per month. This works fine, but I am now eating up the Mb as I chat on Skype to my fiancée with video on.

I'd really like some advice on the best unlimited broadband deal, and if it is possible to get TV streamed as well (particularly cricket and UK football), that would be great.
Jim

Re: unlimited broadband - which provider?

I am using Mobily broadband too and subscribed to 5GB (SR200/mo).

1GB cost SR100/mo and unlimited is i think SR350/month.

My friend bought a wireless broadband internet and it costs SR1,600 if you will subscribed for 1 year with free 4 months and that is unlimited.

You can click the link for you to view the website in mobily:

Hope this info helps.

Re: unlimited broadband - which provider?

hi eddamylene,
Good to know you are my kabayan.
Your advise to use a Mobily broadband is well noted.
I will be travelling to Dammam on 09 Feb 2012 to work with a construction company. Since I am provided with a housing allowance, I wonder if you can help me find a flat for rent in Dammam or Al Khobar, one or two bedrooms, fully furnished, for about SR15,000 to 20,000 per year. I would prefer if there are Filipinos as neighbors.

Thank you in advance.
