Re: ID card office

Just walk down Republic Street until nearly the end at the bottom of the hill and turn right into one of the side roads towards the Mediterranean Conference Centre, then it is just opposite. Ask someone ( not a tourist-)) when you get near.

Cheers
Ricky

Re: ID card office

@ georgeingozo - lol

Or you can simply go down the Republic street, like all mighty Ricky said, till the very end and go right - it's just around the corner -  until you'll see a big gloomy building on your right (looks like an old orphanage - in my opinion) with a fenced parking space in front. You can't miss it.

Re: ID card office

if you walk down Republic Street and literally follow the signs for the Malta Experience it will take you right there.  The Malta Experience is opposite the ID office.

Re: ID card office

Excellent thanks.

I've still not had time to go.

When do you receive your number ? Do you only receive your number when you get the card,or do you get the number when you apply ?

Thanks

Re: ID card office

you don't receive a number, you cue the maltese way...sitting in line in the chairs and everytime someone goes in everyone moves one chair ahead smile

There are 3 lines..one to check your documents, one to get your photo taken an then one across the photo room to check your details and get the ID...now I had the understanding that no more IDs will be issued due to the EU norm...did I missed something???
