Re: location

At school run time; ouch.
Depends how lucky you are but can be 2 hours plus. School will start at 7 so, if you set off at 5 to 5.30, you should be fine.
Coming home will be rough. Expect well over two hours.

An option is get on the train at Palmerah, off at Jombang and a taxi from there. 30 minutes, maybe 40.

Re: location

I live not really far from BIS and i works at wisma 77 slipi.
it took me about 40 minutes by motorcycle.

if by cars, may be it will took longer, around 1 untill 1.5 hours.
since you know, jakarta traffic is quite mess big_smile.

and like mas fred said, better if you stay around BIS, bintaro is a good environment to stay smile

Re: location

Motorcycles are fine for the experienced or very lucky.
A foreigner coming to Indonesia from a western country shouldn't consider a motorbike at first.
Rules of the road go like this:

I'm first - beeps horn
I want to be first - beeps horn
I'm going to be first - beeps horn
What does that red light mean? - beeps horn.
