Trying to teach in Mexico City

Hi all,

I'm trying to get a job teaching English or teaching at the American School, but I have never taken courses in Education or anything teaching related. I have however, graduated from UCSD, live in Mexico City, am fluent in Spanish, and spent the last 3 years running an after school program for low-income youth in San Diego.  I just want to get some basic training so that I don't walk into a classroom unprepared.  I also am trying to figure out the requirements to teach English at the private schools here in Polanco.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
