Getting married in Chile

Hi all,

We invite all the ones who got married in Chile or who are about to get married in Chile to participate in this thread smile

What are the formalities to get married in Chile? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Chile)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

Thank you in advance for participating,

Armand

Re: Getting married in Chile

if u get married to a chilean citizen, you have to go to the local oficina de registro civil, then u have to arrange the appointment with 3 moths in advance, you have to bring ur ID or passport and ur partner's as well... once married your papers r going to automatically processed !! its very easy
