Cinema in China

Hello Guys

I was talking to a Thai friend of mine who lives here in the UK and she said that cinemas in Thailand tend to show films in English language with Thai subtitles. Is this generally the same for China?

I'm moving to China next month and I'm a bit of a film geek but I'm not sure how many films I'll be able to see if they are in Mandarin.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Cinema in China

The same. You can listen to English with Chinese subtitles. You are able to watch a lot of new films.

Re: Cinema in China

Hollywwod films were used to be dubbed here but it rarely is now. Therefore you don't need to worry about the language problem.
