Buying property in Namibia

Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in Namibia?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in Namibia?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Christine

Re: Buying property in Namibia

Hi Christine
Yes you can buy a property in Namibia, 20% deposit is normally required if you are going to apply for a bond. And you must then also supply letter of appointemnt and term of your employment contract.
