Is my social security income taxable in Tanzania? If so I will not come. I wanted to visit 3 or 4 months a year. I can go to other countries.

Not sure I understand. If you visit, tourist visa, and not work, then you don't have to pay taxes.

Thanks Bonnie, I read your posts regularly.
One comment that I read recently said that if you visit TZ for more than 180 days for a life time then you must pay income tax!!
I have been to TZ two times for a total of 10 months. I want to visit every year as a tourist for 3 to 4 months. I own no property I just love TZ.
I am retired and live off social security and my pension.
