Help - Moving to Montenegro

We are looking at moving to Budva Montenegro with our daughter and are looking at schooling options for a 5 year old. International schools like Knightbridge and QSI are not options since they are a bit too expensive for our budget. We are looking at the possibility of her joining a local school and also having some home schooling done on the side. So that she gets the chance to spend time with kids her age and also not miss out on studies. Please advise if there are any schools that you would recommend and also if this is a good option

Re: Help - Moving to Montenegro

Kids up to 7 years old can go to kindergarten, kids older than that can go to elementary school. Bear in mind that in both kinds of schools Serbian (Montenegrin) language is spoken. And the kid would have to adapt to such environment.

Re: Help - Moving to Montenegro

Hi hotelcouple,
There is close to Budva a school for kids (for now up to 7 years old) whith classes in French. It is about 5km from Budva going in the direction of Tivat, at the premises of the "Belgium Consulate".
I will send you the details of a contact person by PM.
Cheers,
Carine
