Hi,

We are planning to go in Lviv in september 2009 and I am worried about the school for my child. As I understood, there are no international school in Lviv (only in Kiyv) and I don't know what to do ? There are only Ukrainian and Russian schools ?? My child (9 years old) doens't speek... Is there anyone here facing the same problem ? How do you manage it ?

hi there,

There are no international schools in Lviv.
However, there is school speacialising in French N37, you can contact them and ask.

there is "international house" in lviv and they have programs "Ukrainian for foreigners"
your child can learn language there

I had the same problem my Ukrainian son doesn't know to speak Russian/Ukrainian he's English speaker and he wanted to study in Philippines.So I sent him to Philippines and he's enrolled in International school.He's actually very smart competitive Ukrainian boy he beat his American classmates in the exams.He's now the number 1 top-notch in the school.
