I've been to Thailand , but never Malaysia .
Gonna fly over by end of December , can someone guide me what to do in Kuala Lumpur ?
And I'd be happy meeting friends over coffee or a movie 
Will visit Kuala Lumpur , looking for friends for coffee :D

There are loads of "Starmakealoadofbucks" with really expensive coffee you can buy anywhere in their world, but you won't tell the difference between one in KL and one in Saudi, save the language.
I'll come back with a few more interesting places when I'm awake.

Chinatown coffee shops - just walk around BUT not at night outside of busy areas.
But Malaysia is a "Brand name" heavy culture so one off shops dead and dieing in KL (Penang is great plenty there). Old Town is ok for a chain that does "Malaysian coffee" but beware of the sweetness. You can feel the obesity by looking at the coffee lol
