Construction Engineers Professionals with family moving in PP

Hi fellow expats,

My wife got a job offer as Quantity Surveyor for a Construction firm in PP. We are deciding to move in since the offer was quite reasonable. But currently we are both working in Singapore and we are a bit worried if there will be a work opportunity for me too, btw, i am a QA/QC Engineer in the construction field.

Will be there a job in this sector if i searched locally?
Any recommendations?
Was it worthy of moving in to PP?

We are already stable here in Singapore but we are attracted to PP because we can bring our family up to 1 year.
