Am a movie producer and director and I want to relocate to Mauritius. Pls is Mauritius a good ground for movie business?

Mauritius is mostly a shooting location for foreign producers. Local productions are mostly low-budget short mini series. There is a push to develop an entertainment industry but still in its infancy.

I know a couple of production houses that have left mauritius in 2015, since change of govt last year.

Best you check what level of subsidies/tax breaks are available at the moment.
