Anybody toured or stayed in the Amazon, by flying into Leticia? There is a houseboat you can stay on or an Eco lodge. All have river tours and such. Any tips?

I took a tour about 6 months ago with a company called On Vacation. The hotel was about 45 minutes away from Leticia and it was very nice but it had been affected by flooding since they got one of the worst rainy seasons in many years.
The trip was interesting and good value for your money but the tours offered were kind of touristy and we were expecting to get a more authentic experience and also we were hoping to get the chance of a longer hike into the jungle but didn't get to have that experience.

That's why I want to either stay on the houseboat on the Amazon or at a eco lodge in the jungle. Thanks for the heads up.
