That is an excellent monthly salary and you will be able to live well on it.
Remember that some of the deductions will be paid by the company you work for and will not come directly out of your gross salary, let me try explain:
Euro 2900 gross is equivalent to a paid gross of almost 4000 as the company will pay contributions of over 1000 whereas your contributions will be about 400 and the tax will be about 450.
