Shipping costs- will we have to pay custom duty on personal things?

Hi,
My husband has just been offered a job in Fiji. We'll be moving from Sydney in the new year for around 2 years. We have a small baby and I would like to ship his cot and a few small things, does anyone know the process of paying customs duty, we also have a brand new desktop computer is like to bring too. Will we have to pay customs duty on it?

the importaion of household goods are duty free as long as the shipment arrives after you husband has the work and residence permit issued. if it comes early you 'will have to pay duty on all above a certain value of ..the last was F$ 1000.
