There is a lot of useful information in the following link: [http://www.slovak-republic.org/car/import/] however I have noticed from my experience, three years ago, that some of the information is outdated and therefore not correct so it would be a good idea for you to check with the District Office for Road Transport and Roads in Bratislava, Pri starej prachárni 14, 831 04 Bratislava
If it is not possible to register your car then you may need to consider selling it for spares and purchasing a local vehicle. A vehicle purchased in CZ is quite easy to register in SK.
