Moving to Lebanon with kids

Hi,

Moving abroad is an adventure for both parents and children: settling overseas is a challenge for each family member.

How was the move to Lebanon for your kids?

How did they manage to adapt to their new environment?

Share with us your experience and advice on settling in Lebanon with children.

Thank you in advance,

Priscilla

I would also be interested in knowing the answers to these questions! :) thank you!

Hey guys,
I don't want to disappoint you but I want to tell you the truth.
First of all,  Lebanon is not the best country to move on especially during these days.
I will try to count how many problem we are facing : electricity is horrible,  garbage is everywhere, job vacancies is very rare..... etc
I don't recommend you to move to Lebanon at all.
Watch the news and take your decision.
Take care and have a safe trip

But if you have money and earn externally, and can receive money inside of Lebanon, life is cheap, fun and adventurous. If money isn't a problem, send your kids to school, have them raised trilingual... much better than Europe

why would you even consider comming to the pos country

i myself am lebanese and i left to germany like a year ago

Now if you insist on comming, i suggest you live in Beirut, so you would get kidnapped by Hizbulla/shiite mugers, i know because im a shiite myself and couldnt tell you what a disappointment to me it is to be one of the trash peoply

So a good place to stay in is

Verdun,Bliss,Achrafieh,Hazmieh,Sea side "very expensive" Sakeyat el janzeer, ein teeneh,Qontari

Any other place is highly not recommended

good luck, youll need it!
