Dear all, I am getting married to a lady in ghana and i have been divorced do you know if i need to bring a divorce certificate or a divorce decree ( i had no settlement it was only a simple divorce) with me to the court where i will get the marriage official documents i will appreciate your help thanks and god bless you all.

Hello Artyd,
Congratations on your upcoming marriage. I was married at the consular General in Accra 3 years ago. I was married and widowed in New York, USA. I had to bring my deceased husband's death certificate. So I imagine you will need a certified copy of your divorce document. Or the original. It is a very crowded set of offices. You will need to go fill out paperwork and make an appointment for the actual ceremony a few days later. God Bless you both.
