i would like to ask is there any budget hotel at the shanghai pudong area to rest for couple hours until morning? my flight arrived at 12am. And also i need some guidance to find a standard studio unit to stay for long period of time in somewhere near the people square, any1 can help? Thank you.

try to look for hostels instead which is cheaper and nice before finding your apartment. try www.yhachina.com

Yep even though its convenient I would not recommend the airport hotel, unless you have to. They are not that comfortable.
