Introducing myself!

Hello everybody,

My name is Tommy and I am from Canada. I came to Turkey about 5 months ago for work. I am an Airline pilot and I signed a contract with a Turkish company in need of expertise on an aircraft they just started to operate this summer. Unfortunately I live far away from the action ( Kurtkoy, which means the village of the wolves!!! ) and that combined with my work makes it  fairly hard to meet up with people and share International experiences. That's why I joined this blog.
This is not my first experience as an expat. I have lived in Africa several years in different countries on contract with the United Nations and really enjoyed meeting people from all around the world, with different accents, sense of humour, needs or simply different overlook on life.

We are all addicted to the same drug here (Travelling), so lets talk about it!!!
