Do you dream of moving to Singapore? Here are some key motivating factors.
Singapore is now known to be the best expat destination to live and work. The 8th HSBC Expat Explorer Survey report released this Wednesday 23rd of September 2015 ranks it first among 39 selected countries worldwide. Singapore hence takes the top spot, followed by New Zealand, Sweden, Bahrain and Germany. Note that a total of 21,950 expats have been interviewed on quality living, financial well-being and the ease of raising a family abroad.
Singapore is especially popular for its interesting career prospects, attractive salaries, as well as for the incomparable quality living it provides to its inhabitants. Indeed, 28% of interviewees reveal that they earn more than US$ 200,000 a year compared to 13% of expats worldwide.
Moreover, 79% of interviewees claim they trust the Singaporean economy while 59% of expats rejoice about improved career development opportunities. 60% of interviewees also say they can now make more savings.
As regards family life, 65% of expat parents claim that their children are now enjoying a better health and unequaled well-being since they moved to Singapore.

Singapore: the best destination to live and work
After the survey, now many things changed including the minimum salary to obtain employment passes but housing expense, as usual, increasing 
Of course living facilities improving day by day with the expenses. Let's wait for the next survey to analyze the graph of disposable income of expats.
This survey did only consider high-earning expats who were sent there by their employers with generous "hardship" packages. It ignored the big (and growing) group of foreigners who work there under local conditions (which are still reasonable, but nowhere near US$200k/year!) and the even bigger mass of third-world labourers, who are badly paid (below S$2000/month) and whithout whom Singapore couldn't function any longer.

I agree...I am nowhere near $200k but I am still enjoying th city a lot..Haze aside of course...
